All you ever wanted to know about ... alumni relations
Want to know all about maintaining contact with alumni? Come to the workshop on 6 April.
Alumni can make an important contribution to teaching and research. For example, by offering internships and company visits, and as a mentor or adviser for students and prospective students. Making sure you have a good relationship with alumni is essential to maintain their enthusiasm and commitment. The Alumni Relations office is organising a workshop on Thursday 6 April for colleagues working at career services, international marketing, or communication, or who have contacts with alumni in some other context.
Lilian Visscher, Head of Alumni Relations, will give an introduction to alumni relations within Leiden University: What's new and what can you expect? There will be three sessions of poster presentations, on subjects ranging from Alumni database CRM, alumni events to the mentor network and crowdfunding. The workshop also offers the opportunity for exchanging best practises in the area of alumni relations with colleagues from other faculties.
