In the second half of April, Leiden University will be conducting a study on the commuting and business travel of staff and students. The occupancy of a number of buildings will also be assessed. The goal: saving energy, better facilities and efficient use of the buildings.
The University community is invited to nominate candidates for the 2014 Mr. K.J. Cath Prize. This prize is awarded every two years to a member of staff or student who has made a positive contribution to promoting the University’s reputation.
Early in April the world was shaken up by a security leak named Heart Bleed. Many webshops, banks and service providers have been affected, as has Leiden University.
