The focus in this course is on involving all your students in your teaching.

Cultural Awareness in Teaching and Learning
This course looks at your experiences with students and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds. You will be given practical suggestions about how to make use of this cultural diversity and how you can involve all your students in your teaching.

Reistering for regular courses at ICLON

ICLON offers courses aimed at supporting lecturers while they are obtaining their Basic Teaching Qualification. These courses are also suitable for lecturers who are not following a BKO track. 

  • Blackboard for advanced users (new/improved course)
  • Giving lectures and tutorials (new/improved course)
  • Blended Learning, starting on 4 October
  • Designing a teaching programme (workshop and iindividual coaching), starting on 6 October
  • Testing and assessments (workshop and individual coaching), starting on 14 November
  • Supervising theses, starting on 3 November
ICLON also offers a range of training courses for PhD candidates and student assistants who have teaching responsibilities:
  • Initial course on basic teaching skills
  • Blackboard for advanced users
All regular courses are offered both in Dutch and English.
